Spooky Cocktail of the day

Hi Ladies,

Since it is now Halloween month – which happens to be one of my 3 favorite holidays of the year – I’ve decided to post a spooky cocktail for each day of this month.

Yes I know, I’m only 9 days late but no reason I can’t make that up in the next few days – Perhaps a double cocktail post for a Saturday, we all need that double take after a long week.

My first cocktail, not only looks delicious but is simple and easy to make yet strikingly beautiful.

Introducing the our first captivating cocktail of the evening…

The Black Devil Martini

*2 shots(60ml) dark rum
*1/2 shot(15ml) dry vermouth
*black olive
*orange sugar

*Stir and strain into chilled martini glass that has been rimmed with orange sugar, then garnish with black olives.

Yes, i know this may be a little strong – but what isn’t in Halloween…

Just to stir things up a little and because i love shooters, I’ve decided to add a shooter in today’s post. Count it as one of the days I’ve already missed 🙂

So, without hesitating…which rarely happens when taking a shot…

The Black Widow shot

1 1/2 shot(45ml)  black vodka, chilled
1/2 shot(15ml) ounces cranberry juice, chilled
1 cherry, for garnish
red sugar crystals, for rim

*Fill a small cocktail glass with ice, Rim glass with red sugar crystals. Pour cranberry juice over ice, and gently layer black vodka over juice. Garnish with a cherry.

You don’t really have to add the cute skull pick, although it ties into the theme and is really adorable!

I hope all you wonderful ladies enjoy these cocktails, once tried – let me know what you think!

Until next time,

❤ Lady K
